    Description

Up for Sale is this vintage military issue first aid kit.
I believe it was made by Mine Safety Appliances Company, but it is missing the label from the lid.
Contains most of original items including Ammonia Inhalants (2), 4" Compress Bandage, 2" Compress Bandage, Iodine Brushes, Tourniquet, Adhesive Bandage 1".
I made inquiry with Mine Safety Appliances Company to determine the exact age. MSA indicated that based on the logo on some of the items the first aid kit was made between 1936 and 1948.
None of my family was in WWII or any other military conflict/deployment during that time.
Does have one spot of rust on the side and adjacent bottom (see photo).
The seal around the lid fits so well that a screwdriver is need to pry open the lid. As a result there are some pry marks at the front where the latches are. (Can see these pry marks in the last photo).
