Description

Mercruiser Alpha One Gen 2 Transom Assembly w/ Backing Plate.
Removed from a freshwater boat
All joints are tight with steering no play.
Backing plate and hardware included
Zinc anode with hardware included
Studs have minor rust
One lower aluminum mounting bolt in missing.
This is an early generation 2 transom assembly so the gear oil passage has a plug. Gear oil valve can be transferred and plug removed.
Replacement of bellows is recommended.
Gimbal gearing needs replaced. Inner race of bearing stayed on driveshaft when removed.
No cut cables, wires or hoses.
Shift cable shifted smooth in boat
All paint is original.
Excellent condition
Unit has been fully degreased/cleaned
