    This is a great beginner species. Isopods, also known as Sow Bugs or Woodlice, are terrestrial crustaceans that thrive in a medium to high humidity, damp environment. Unlike the closely related roly poly or pill bug, this species does not roll into a ball when disturbed but will instead either run or play dead. Once established, Dairy Cow Isopods makes great cleaners, live feeders, reptile food, or simply to keep as pets! They enjoy eating dried leaves, decayed wood, and vegetables.
    Vigorous, medium to large isopods are shipped in their home substrate of oak leaves, decayed wood, and coconut coir.
