You will receive over 1100 live mealworms in a variety of sizes.
As of 8/10/2021 we are including more of the large  worms than the smaller ones in this mix.  If this is not what you want please let us know and we will accommodate.
Live mealworms shipped directly from Georgia where we grow them.  We ship these worms out Monday - Thursday via USPS first class mail.  The post office is extremely slow right now.  Orders may take up to 10 days or even longer to arrive.  Some arrive more quickly.  Just depends on the post office.  The time in transit is not an issue but extreme heat at delivery time will kill your worms.  If they are put into a hot mailbox in over 80 degree weather they will be dead when you get them and we will not be responsible for that.  Please have them held if the temperatures are not conducive to live delivery in your area.
We always include many many extras just in case.    They will be about  3/4 inch or larger for the most part some will be a  smaller some will be larger.  We do our sorting by hand with sieves so variation is to be expected.  We usually send the largest ones we can but if you prefer smaller ones just let me know and we will try to accommodate your request.
DELIVERY...Please ask us to hold your worms at the post office if temperature in your area is over 80 or under 40 as these temps will kill the worms.  If you would like them held at the post office,
please provide your phone number and hopefully the post office will call you when they arrive.
PACKAGING ==== Currently we pack our worms in breathable bag which is put into a ventilated box.  Boxes are labeled with stickers to indicate that live animals are enclosed.  We put a bit of bedding which is also the feed in with the worms and crumple up a piece of paper to keep the bag open and to provide additional surface area for the worms.  Currently, we are using brown lunch sacks as filler which we crumple up and which do not harm the worms and they can actually munch on them if they want.
SHIPPING---- When ordering more than one of these items, we combine the worms into a single box.
